Wensleydale Locks
Wensleydale X locks are a lustrous lock with a curl referred to as a ‘purl’. The lock does not have a spiral curl to it, but rather ‘purls’ back and forth. These locks are from a small flock of sheep with a high percentage of Wensleydale blood. They are part of the Wensleydale breeding program in the
US
. The locks have been individually hand-washed to preserve the structure and curl. Use the locks for doll hair, Santa’s beards, needle-felting or if you just want to try spinning it!
